April fools day the MSc students from The University of Nottingham, MSc Biological Photography and Imaging were up nice and early for a trip out to the Monkey Forest. The day was a good day for photography not overcast but not very sunny. Helen Walsh was the leader for the day and the the students had a defined brief to follow for the day.

On the recent trip to photograph the rocky shores of Filey Brigg the staff of the MSc Biological Photography and Imaging just happen to turn their backs for that split second for the students to be off, found here playing in the park at the top of Filey Brigg. Having said that, each year that we run this  course each and every student has put a work load in which is beyond what any working photographer would do in a year, so they deserve any break they can get and I hope they enjoy the play as much as they enjoy the work. Well done to you all

Alex Hyde for the next four weeks, will be demonstrating and teaching Adobe photoshop elements to the undergraduate students, in these classes not only do they have a introduction to the Adobe family but they also have a introduction to the apple mac base room, some still have to work on the PC version, Sorry. If the undergrads move up to the MSc level the photoshop experience increases with the use of Adobe photoshop CS4 and Adobe Lightroom.
